For now, best approach is via I-79 Exit 135, Pleasant Valley. From south, turn right off ramp, from north, turn left, and go to stop sign. You'll be following signs to Wave Pool and Veterans Memorial. Turn left onto Pleasant Valley Road, follow about 2 miles, up and over two long hills. At 90-degree turn, turn right up hill onto State Street Extension, toward East Marion Park complex. Go all the way up the hill, just past the park entrance, to Songbird Lane. To enter front, turn left on Songbird, turn into first driveway, #305. To park in rear, enter park entrance, turn right into driveway. For big events, please park in the large parking lot on your right at the top of State Street.

What is the Songbird Learning Center?

The Songbird Learning Center is a project of Learning Options, Inc., a tax-exempt nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide a sustainable center to support interest-based learning options in North Central West Virginia.

Since our founding in April 2002, we have provided supplemental educational activities and classes to homeschooling families in seven counties and have collaborated with other community organizations and agencies to create and carry out educational projects in our home county.

The Songbird Learning Center, which opened in 2008, is located at 305 Songbird Lane in Fairmont, near East Marion Park and the new Gateway Connector to I-79.
