LOI presents the EQT CELLO Program for 2010

A series of workshops designed for students ages 12 and up as an introduction to the kind of work done in today's science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers.

Our small, interactive workshops allow students to explore a wide variety of STEM fields, while gaining valuable career-related skills and experiences, presented by leading professionals in the field.

Sunday, August 29
5:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Location:  Songbird Learning Center near Fairmont Wave Pool

A panel of engineers will talk about their work and answer questions to introduce the series.

The 7 additional workshops will take place approximately every other week from September to November 2010, schedule to be announced here.

Indiviidual workshops cost $25, or you can sign up for the entire series for $150 at the Community Education website of Pierpont Community & Technical College:  Pierpont.edu/ce

LOI Summer Camps for 2010

Academic summer camps with hands-on activities in the areas of science, logic, analysis and math (SLAM)!  Each day includes academic activities and outdoor recreation, including swimming at the Wave Pool.
